Childcare Provider Support

Johnson County Community Health Service’s Childcare Health Consultation Program (CCHC) provides individual and group training, as well as continued education. We also provide individualized consultation to local childcare providers, by special request.

The goal of the program is to promote safe, healthy and developmentally appropriate environments for all children in childcare in our county. The services can be provided on site or at Johnson County Community Health Services. Training opportunities count towards clock hours required for state licensing. There is no cost for this service. It is available to childcare providers, families and children.

Health promotion programs available in a childcare setting:
Germs Are Not for Sharing
Healthy Smiles
Spike’s Poison Prevention Adventure

We provide Heartsaver Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid classes monthly. Please contact us for more information, dates being offered, or to schedule your training.

To learn more about upcoming classes or to schedule a consultation or training, please call 660-747-6121, ext. 281. Register online at http://www.moworkshopcalendar.org/ through the Workshop Calendar. MOPDID required.
