JCCHS Hospice Shines in New Hospice Compare

August 23, 2017 Filed Under: Hospice Leave a Comment

WARRENSBURG, MISSOURI (August 21, 2017) – Johnson County Community Health Services (JCCHS) Hospice Care continues to serve our communities as the local provider for hospice care services.  In cooperation with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, JCCHS Hospice Care is pleased to announce the launch of a new Hospice Compare website at www.medicare.gov/hospicecompare.

The website reflects current industry best practices and allows patients, family members, caregivers and healthcare providers to compare hospice providers based on important metrics.  JCCHS Hospice Care submits data on a regular basis, and data shows that services provided not only exceed national averages, but outperforms other providers in the area as well.  This includes 100% scores in patient preferences, and high scores for managing pain and treating symptoms.

“The Hospice Compare website is a great tool for family and caregivers to help them find the right hospice for their needs, and Johnson County Hospice Care is proving to be among the best service providers for our communities,” said JCCHS Hospice Coordinator Amanda McClain.

Johnson County Community Health Services provides quality Home Health, Public Health, and Hospice services and programs to prevent illness, promote health, and protect the communities we serve in Johnson County and Lafayette counties.  Information can be found at www.johnsoncountyhealth.org.
