WARRENSBURG, Mo. (Nov. 30, 2021) – Johnson County Community Health Services (JCCHS) Home Health has been named a 2021 HHCAHPS Honors recipient by HEALTHCAREfirst.

HEALTHCAREfirst is a leading provider of web-based home health and hospice software, billing and coding services, CAHPS surveys and advanced analytics. This prestigious annual review recognizes agencies that continuously provide a positive patient experience and high quality care as measured from the patient’s point of view. It acknowledges the highest performing agencies by analyzing the performance of the Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HHCAHPS) survey satisfaction measures.

HHCAHPS Honors acknowledges the highest performing agencies. HHCAHPS qualifies an agency by analyzing performance on the Willingness to Recommend question of the survey. Once an agency is qualified, HHCAHPS then analyzes performance on 18 other questions that comprise the publicly reported measures from April 2020 through March 2021.

HHCAHPS Honors recipients include agencies scoring above the HEALTHCAREfirst National Average on at least 85 percent of the evaluated questions. HEALTHCAREfirst holds a special recognition, the HHCAHPS Honors Elite, to recognize home health agencies scoring above the HEALTHCAREfirst National Average on 100 percent of the evaluated questions.

“HHCAHPS Honors recipients are industry leaders in providing quality care and constantly seeking ways to improve,” said Ronda Howard, Vice President Revenue Cycle and CAHPS at HEALTHCAREfirst. “We are honored to be aligned with such high performing agencies like Johnson County Community Health Services and we congratulate them on their success.”

Stephanie Truex, JCCHS administrator, credits the amazing team who works tirelessly providing exceptional home healthcare. She said, “This is another example of the quality of care this team provides to each individual and family they serve.  JCCHS would not have received this prestigious honor without the home health team’s dedication and commitment!”

JCCHS Home Health offers specialized services to individuals in Johnson, Pettis, and Lafayette counties. The goal is to keep patients out of the hospital or nursing home with the assistance of the Home Health team.

JCCHS Home Health has credentialed and professionally trained team. This includes nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, certified nurse aide, and a medical social worker. This team of professionals works closely with a patient’s physician to develop a personalized home health plan.
