The Missouri Milk, Food, and Environmental Health Association honored Johnson County Community Health Services employee Victoria Hoskins with a special recognition award for her work in the field this past year.
Victoria has served as an Environmental Public Health Specialist with JCCHS since 2015. She conducts inspections for Johnson County food facilities, child care operations, and lodging facilities including area motels. Additionally, Victoria works to insure onsite waste water systems are properly installed or modified. The food safety of our communities is a priority for Victoria, as demonstrated by her work facilitating food safety classes each month at the JCCHS offices.
Environmental Public Health Coordinator Tammy Carlyle notes that “Victoria often goes above and beyond and provides great customer service helping to provide advice and assistance to new food facility owners, helping them efficiently navigate licensing and regulations”.
Victoria is looking forward to continuing her work at JCCHS, “This award means a lot, and I plan on continuing my efforts to help improve the safety and quality of life in our community.”
