Eight More Confirmed COVID-19 Death Brings total to 14 Deaths for Johnson County

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO (October 8, 2020) – We are deeply saddened to announce eight more deaths in Johnson County due to COVID-19. This brings the total to 14 deaths in the county.

Our condolences go out to the families during this difficult time.

The deaths occurred in late September through early October. The individuals resided in long-term care facilities in the area.

All Johnson County residents are reminded to stay home when you don’t feel well. Even the mildest symptoms can spread and become more severe for others.

It is also very important to wear a mask when in any public location. You could unknowingly spread the disease to others.
