We are all in this together!
Johnson County has begun the slow and steady recovery process.
The Johnson County Recovery and Response Plan highlights how we can reopen, including a specific step-by-step approach. Keep in mind, each step will take weeks to months to complete, as we monitor active cases to ensure we are not taking a step backward, and continue moving forward with preventing the spread of COVID-19.
While public health will continue to focus on local numbers and metrics, individuals are urged to continue to take serious actions like frequent handwashing, social distancing and wearing masks in public.
Businesses that choose to reopen will have an increased responsibility to operate according to public health’s recommendations and limitations, while always keeping employee and customer safety their top priority.
Let’s all do our part to stop the spread!
Johnson County currently has 78 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
