Registered Birth and Death records are available at JCCHS. Certified copies are computer generated and are valid for all legal purposes.

Birth Certificates are available for anyone born in the state of Missouri. If the person you need the certificate for was born in another state, you must contact that state for the record.

Birth Certificates are $15.00 each copy.

Death Certificates are available for anyone who has died in the state of Missouri. If the person you need the certificate for died in another state, you must contact the state for the record.

Death Certificates are $13.00 for the first copy and $10.00 for each additional copy.

You may visit our office during normal business hours 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday to obtain a birth or death certificate.

Please be aware Missouri state law requires that all mail-in requests be notarized by an acceptable notary public.
